Have Questions? We're Here to Help
Here's how we plan work, what projects cost, how we choose between ready-made platforms and custom builds, and what happens after we go live.
Working with AiVORA Techlabs
How do we start?
We start with a conversation about your problem, not a product demo. Then we usually run a short discovery phase. This means walking through your processes and looking at your current systems. Only after that do we suggest a solution or a price.
Do you work with businesses of our size?
We mainly work with growing businesses. These are companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and separate tools, but don't have a large in-house IT team. Tell us about your situation, and we'll tell you honestly if we're the right fit.
What does an engagement cost?
The cost depends on the scope of the work, so we don't give a price before we understand it. We will, however, tell you early if your budget and your goals don't match.
How do you keep projects visible?
We set clear milestones and show you regular working demos, not just status slides. You also get one main point of contact who knows your project well.
ERP implementation
How do you decide between configuring an ERP and building custom software?
It depends on how unique the process is. Common processes, like purchase-to-pay, order-to-cash, or payroll, are cheaper to set up on an existing platform. Processes that set your business apart are usually worth building from scratch. Most businesses need a mix of both.
How long does an ERP implementation take?
It depends on the scope of the project and the state of your data. We roll out modules in phases, so working parts go live early instead of everything launching at once.
Which ERP platforms do you work with?
We work with platforms including Odoo, Zoho, and Microsoft Dynamics. We only make a recommendation after discovery, not before.
What happens to our existing data?
We check your data, clean it up, and move over what is useful. Records kept only for reference can be archived instead of carried across.
Custom software
Can you work with the systems we already have?
Yes. Most projects involve tools that are already working well. We connect to them through APIs and data links instead of replacing what already works.
Who owns the software you build?
You do. We hand over the source code, documentation, and infrastructure access as part of the delivery.
Where does AI realistically fit in a mid-sized business?
AI can automate repetitive document and data work, forecast trends using history you already have, and power internal assistants built on your own information. We always aim AI at one specific decision with a result you can measure.
Do we need a large dataset before using AI?
Not always. Document processing and assistant tools can work with a modest amount of data. Forecasting needs more history. If you don't have it, we'll tell you instead of building something unreliable.
How is data security handled?
We agree on access control, separate environments, and data handling rules as part of the project. Security is built into the design from the start, not added later.
IT consulting
Can you advise us without doing the implementation?
Yes. Advice-only projects are common. This includes reviewing proposals from other vendors, even ones that compete with our own services.
What do we receive from a consulting engagement?
You get a written report on where you stand today, a review of your options with clear reasons, a target design, and a step-by-step plan your leaders can act on.
ISO certification
What does ISO certification support cover?
We help define the scope, assess the gaps, prepare documents, put new processes in place, carry out an internal review, and get you ready for the audit.
Do you issue the ISO certificate?
No. An accredited certification body issues the certificate after their audit. Our job is to prepare your organization and support you through the process.
After go-live
What kind of support do you provide afterwards?
We fix issues, improve the system based on real use, train new staff, and roll out any features held back from the first release.
What if our requirements change during the project?
They usually do change. We check each change against the scope, timeline, and cost, and agree on it before it's built. Nothing changes quietly on either side.
